Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) – From Form to Functional Tool

Presented in Cooperation with the Renal Health Administrators (RHA)

8:00-10:00 am

From capturing data from your electronic medical record to utilizing key tools available in the industry. How does in-center, home, or special populations like acute or pediatrics impact the data collection for quality metrics?  In this session, panelists will share their own experiences and help participants identify the ways to slice and dice data to drive performance improvement. The team will demonstrate samples of creating pathways for looking at data and using it on the front-line.  From root cause analysis tools to action plans the key responsibilities of all members of the interdisciplinary team will be highlighted so you can move QAPI from a form to a functional tool in your facility.

Moderator:  Becky Berg, MBA, BSN, CDN
